Pardomuan Oloan Lubis

Managing Partner — Patent Attorney, Technology Evaluation & Strategic IP Advisory

Pardomuan Oloan Lubis is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Channel International Patent (CIPatent). With academic backgrounds in civil engineering and law, he brings together technical insight, legal expertise, and extensive practical experience in intellectual property matters.

Before establishing CIPatent, Mr. Lubis served for eight years as a patent attorney at a leading intellectual property law firm in Indonesia. He is a registered Intellectual Property Consultant authorized to represent clients before the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) and a licensed advocate qualified to practise before Indonesian courts.

His practice focuses on patent prosecution, technology evaluation, patentability and infringement analysis, intellectual property strategy, and advisory services for complex technical inventions. He is also an experienced educator on patent law and a co-author of publications addressing intellectual property matters.

D.S. Dwipo

Partner — Advocate, Solicitor & IP Attorney

Mr. Dwipo graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia (1997) and completed his Postgraduate studies there in 2006. He brings extensive experience across intellectual property rights, litigation, and corporate and commercial law. Prior to founding CIPatent, he served as an Associate Lawyer at Makarim & Taira S. and as a Senior Lawyer at a leading Indonesian intellectual property law firm. As a registered IP attorney, Mr. Dwipo is officially admitted to practice before the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights of Indonesia.

Imam Munara Lubis

Head of Patent Division — Management & Biotechnology

Imam Munara Lubis is the Head of the Patent Division at Channel International Patent (CIPatent). With an interdisciplinary background in management and biotechnology, he provides strategic and comprehensive solutions for patent protection and portfolio management. His expertise includes patent prosecution, patent specification drafting, patentability and infringement analysis, and intellectual property education for companies and inventors. He guides clients throughout the patent lifecycle, from application preparation and filing to the successful grant of patent rights.

Iswin S

Senior Associate — Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Iswin is a Senior Associate at CIPatent with a technical background in mechanical and electrical engineering. He specializes in patent prosecution before the Indonesian Patent Office, particularly in mechanical and electrical technologies, optical sensors, stencil printers, and printer drivers. His practice includes patent searching, patent specification drafting, preparation of legal and technical opinions, and advisory services relating to patentability and infringement.

Aisyah

Senior Associate — Agricultural Engineering

Aisyah is a Senior Associate at CIPatent with a background in agricultural engineering and extensive experience across industrial and engineering sectors. Her practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution in Indonesia and internationally, particularly in the chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and biotechnology fields. She also handles plant variety protection, patent, and utility model applications, including the preparation of substantive responses, patentability assessments, and technical analyses of inventions.

Ayub Hermawan

Senior Associate — Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Ayub Hermawan is a Senior Associate at CIPatent with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering. He specializes in patent prosecution before the Indonesian Patent Office, particularly in mechanical and electrical technologies. His expertise includes patent searching, patent specification drafting for national and international applications, patentability and infringement analysis, technical opinions, technology assessment, and the filing and prosecution of PCT international applications.

Anggira

Anggira is an Associate at CIPatent with a legal background and a strong focus on intellectual property law. She specializes in patent prosecution before the Indonesian Patent Office, including patent application filing, preparation of responses to office actions, and management of procedural and substantive requirements throughout the examination process. Her practice also covers patentability analysis, patent searching, legal research, preparation of legal opinions, and advisory services relating to the protection and enforcement of patent rights. She assists clients in navigating complex patent procedures and developing effective strategies for securing and maintaining their intellectual property rights.

M. Salam is an Associate at CIPatent with a background in chemical engineering. He advises clients on intellectual property matters affecting the pharmaceutical, chemical, and agrochemical industries, including data exclusivity and trade secret protection. His strong technical knowledge and consulting experience enable him to provide practical and commercially focused advice on complex chemical technologies. He has also authored numerous publications and lectured extensively on a broad range of chemical engineering topics.

Bayu A. is an Associate at CIPatent with a background in telecommunication engineering and extensive experience in intellectual property. He specializes in patent prosecution involving telecommunications, wireless technologies, software-enabled systems, and financial technology systems. His practice includes patent searching, drafting national and international patent applications, preparing technical and legal opinions, conducting patentability and infringement analyses, and filing and prosecuting PCT international applications. He regularly advises clients on the patentability and strategic protection of technology-based inventions.
